About Me

I’m Yewen Li, a post-doctoral fellow at the AI Chip Center for Emerging Smart Systems, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. My advisor is Prof. Fengbin Tu.

My research interests span computer architecture and computational biology. In particular, I’m interested in developing algorithms and domain-specific hardware accelerators that enable faster and cheaper progress in biology and medicine.

I received my Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2024. My advisor is Prof. Guangming Tan. I received my bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Minzu University of China in 2019.
